This October we are working to help find a cure for pediatric cancer by raising funds for CURE Childhood Cancer. CURE has raised millions of dollars to advance promising research, lobbied for important legislation, and provided tangible support to thousands of childhood cancer patients and their families. Initially founded to conquer childhood cancer through research, CURE offers programs that address the physical, emotional, financial, and educational needs of families during treatment and beyond.
Because of major treatment advances, more than 80 percent of children with cancer now survive five years or more. Still, cancer is the second leading cause of death in children younger than 15 years old, after accidents. These are the top five cancers found in children and their warning signs. Check with your pediatrician if you notice any of these symptoms. Pediatric Cancer Symptoms
