Still, cancer is the second leading cause of death in children younger than 15 years old, after accidents. Pediatric Cancer Symptoms

• Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia typically occurs between the ages of 2 and 4, and is more common in males. Symptoms include bone and joint pain, fatigue, weakness, bleeding, fever, and weight loss.
• Brain Tumors make up about 27 percent of pediatric cancers. Symptoms may include  vision, hearing or speech problems, headaches, dizziness, balance problems, and frequent vomiting.
• Neuroblastoma arises from immature nerve cells in infants and young children and is more common in males. Its symptoms include impaired ability to walk, changes in eyes (bulging, dark circles, droopy eyelids), pain in various locations of the body, diarrhea, and high blood pressure.
• Wilms Tumor is the most common type of pediatric kidney cancer and is usually found in children 3 to 4 years old. Watch for symptoms like swelling or a lump in the belly, fever, pain, nausea, and poor appetite.
• Lymphoma affects lymph nodes and other lymph tissues, like the tonsils or thymus. There are two main types, Hodgkin lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Symptoms include swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpit, or groin, weight loss, fever, sweats, and weakness.
