El Nino is coming…we hope! Get ready with these tips for dressing professionally in the rain!
1. Tailor your pants. Before the weather gets bad, have Flair’s tailor hem the cuffs of your pants so they don’t drag and get soaked in wet weather.
2. Wear rain boots. Rain boots have become quite fashionable and while it’s fine to wear them on the commute, be sure to change to “office-appropriate” shoes when you get to work.
3. Get the right trench coat. To really stay dry, get a trench made of nylon, not cotton. Or try a classic raincoat. We recommend one made of water-resistant fabric that has a hood. Be sure it is big enough to wear over a suit jacket!
4. Invest in a good umbrella. A really good, sturdy umbrella won’t crumble at the slightest gust of wind, and depending on the style, it can be a cute accessory on a rainy day.
